Ancient Greek language I. For beginners, 16 weeks, 2 hours per week

This course is an entry to Ancient Greek. During these 16 weeks we will learn about:

• the origins of the Greek language
• the alphabet
• the pronounciation
• aspects of Greek history and culture
• grammar rules
• syntax rules

Meanwhile we will work on passages from

• Aristotle
• Isocrates

Our purpose is to engage with the Ancient Greek language as well as with the way of thinking in the Ancient Greek civilization.
