Ancient Greek drama, 12 weeks, 1 hour per week.

With this course we will enter the world of the theatre. We will learn about:

• The origins of the drama
• Etymology
• The Ancient Greek theatre
• The tragedies of Aeschylus
• The tragedies of Sophocles
• The tragedies of Euridides
• The comodies of Aristophanes

In order to study passages in Ancient Greek you must have advanced knowledge of the language.
